Maria Ainsworth
Maria is a third-generation poet and author. She has an endearing passion for writing and an overwhelming love for animals. Four of the five animals she currently cares for were rescued from abuse or abandonment. The baby squirrel that inspired Crowning Sol-See the Squirrel Girl was rescued by Maria when she was eight years old.
